Your case will always be handled by a qualified solicitor specialising in criminal defence. We do not use unqualified representatives for court hearings.
Solicitors
All criminal defence work is carried out by solicitors who are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). Each solicitor has experience in representing clients in the Magistrates’ Court and Crown Court.
Supervision
All work is supervised by a senior solicitor within the firm. This ensures that your case receives the appropriate level of expertise and oversight at every stage.
Support Staff
In some cases, paralegals or trainee solicitors may assist with preparation work (such as gathering documents or drafting statements). Any work they carry out is always supervised by a qualified solicitor, and you will be informed of who is working on your case.
Prices
Driving/ motoring Early engagement
Advice Only – £300 + VAT / hour
Pre-charge engagement – £1500 + VAT
Representation at the Police Station
Interview under caution – £1200 + VAT
Court representation
First Appearance + Exceptional Hardship/Special Reasons Hearing – £2800 + VAT
Exceptional Hardship Hearing Only – £1400 + VAT
Special Reasons Hearing Only – £1500 + VAT
First Hearing: Guilty Plea and Mitigation – £1200 + VAT
Not Guilty Plea and Trial – £3000 + VAT
Any Additional hearing – £1200 + VAT
This includes:
Travel to and from Court as well as any disbursements (Within one hour travelling distance of our offices)
Preparation, advice and attendance at Court including advocacy.
Please note: If attendance is required at a venue requiring more than one hour travelling time in one direction, travel will be charged at the hourly rate of £100 + VAT.
